The 6th grade curriculum focuses on the following five strands: Number and Number Sense; Computation and Estimation; Measurement and Geometry; Patterns, Functions and Algebra; and Probability and Statistics. In our 6th grade math classes, we will work on developing and improving our mathematical fluency and reasoning. We will communicate mathematically and sharpen our problem-solving skills. At the end of the year, we will be prepared for the 6th grade VA Standards of Learning (SOL).
